Vehicle Detail
This car is sold as a parts car with a bill of sale only no title, the way I bought it. I was going to restore it but MD is a hard state to get a title so I am moving on. The car is complete with the exception of seats, carpet & bumpers. I do not know what engine is in it (350?) has a 350 automatic but still has a clutch peddle in the car. Assume the drive train will need to be rebuilt. The frame rails are good no rot, the floor pans are good would need a small patch at the firewall on both sides, the fire wall would need some attention but not replacement, all glass is good, has a complete dash. The trunk pan, gas tank, quarter panels and fenders would need replacement. The hood the trunk lid and doors are usable, doors would need a little work. The driver’s door opened and closed fine when I got it but the lock broke and will not be fixed. I will throw in the new upper and lower tubular A Arms I have ($400 value). I do not want to mislead anyone this car is a major project to restore if know metal work maby worth it if not the car has a lot of usable parts. You will need to tow this car out. The brake system is complete but not working, the steering works fine and the tires appear to be holding air. No warranties or guaranties implied or expressed car is parts as is. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and cost. Payment is cash at pick up within 7 days of sale. Thanks for looking. On Feb-21-11 at 14:35:08 PST, seller added the following information: I have had a lot of questions so let me clear up a few things. This is being sold as a parts car only. The engine is not running assume rebuild. This car is in rough shape and would be a large project. This car would need most of the body panels replaced as previously stated. I have been asked if the frame is bent, I am no expert in camaros but it does not appair to be but can not swear to it and it is not rusted out. There is a lot of surface rust on the floor pans the only patches I can see would be the drivers and passenger side where the pans meet the fire wall. The fire wall would need some large patches but salvageable. I have been asked to end the auction by a lot of people, the auction will run to the end. I am going to get a lot less than I paied for it I am fine with that I just want the space back. I also noticed while packing the parts in the car the windshield is cracked on the passenger side did not know this at the time of the listing all other glass is good. As I stated I do not want to mislead anyone this car is rough and would be a big project if you wanted to apply for a title and rebuild it. If you are the current high bidder and any of this information changes your view please pull your bid, if it is too late I will not hold you to your bid. I do not want anyone to be disapointed I just want my space back. If you feel like a big project please bid, if you want a camaro that needs a little work pass this one up. if you are bidding good luck.On Feb-21-11 at 16:23:47 PST, seller added the following information: Some additional information someone who said they worked on a lot of camaros came by to look at the car and pointed out that the rear frame rails had been replaced and are in very nice condition nice job on the install. the rear shock mounts are in very good condition as well as the inner fender wells. The trunk lid will probably need to be replaced. The motor is not a 350 maybe 327??
