Vehicle Detail
Here is a very unique street van that will certainly draw attention....Pictures tell the story but here is a few things to concider... We'll start with the EXTERIOR... The custom mural is very detailed...from the soaring eagle on the driverside to the waterfall on the passengerside...The mural looks great considering that it is over 25 years old...there are areas where the clear coat has begun to check or delaminate, and the rear doors do have an area where it has flaked. I believe that the paint is mostly original, there are a few areas that have been touched up ...Over all it looks very nice. You can tell this was someones baby... The van is nearly rust free except a very few small surface spots on the side slider door near the bottom (see photo), some at seem on back of slider and wear the paint has chipped or worn thin in other areas (nothing big) . Rock guard was applied to the lower section of the van and the van was undercoated as well. There is a very cool spoiler on the rear roof and a visor up front. Custom tube grille, and big fat 50 series tires out back mounted on Cragar deep dish mags. The tires look good, but there is a chip in the side wall on one front tire I noticed and rears have a small amount of dry checking. The glass is good, but has a wiper mark on the wind shield. INTERIOR If the exterior wasn't cool enough for you, The interior will do the trick... BLUE VELVET EVERYWHERE! The walls are about 3-4" thick rolled in velvet. The ceiling has blue tinted mirrored acrylic spanning the bed and sink areas. 2 sunroofs. There are ceiling "mood" lights, a sink and counter, icebox and storage everywhere. There is a large velvet cover bed accessed thru an diamond shaped wall divider. Sunroofs above the bed and driver area. . No stains, or rips in fabric....Nice carpet shows minimal wear if any at all. Up front are 2 captains chairs that of course swivel etc. There are 2 buttons missing from the driver side, and a tear in the armrest on the passenger side. Overhead is the original CB, EQ, Radio, door locks, p. windows and light switches for the rear. The radio has been disconnected because a newer cd/hd radio was installed in the dash (CB still powers up). It also has SAT radio (no subscription included). Everything inside appears to work, except the right turn signal bulb in the dash (outside fine). ENGINE The engine is a 305..It reads under 88k.. It starts right up and shifts and stops just as it should...Dual side exit exhaust...a very small exhaust leak is present but hardly noticable. A/C belt is removed. I hope that answers it all....I bought this a whimm not long ago. I used to see this parked along the way to work in the summers. I fell in love with it. When it went up for sale I jump at the chance to have it...too quick really. We need a camper for the kids rather than a toy for me. The weather has kept it parked until today when I was able to take it out for pictures. I drove it maybe 150 miles since I got it. Bummer. It's not mint, however It is clean, original and grabs attention for sure. Keep in mind ...It is winter and I no longer can store this inside. When you come for it , it may have snowed. I will do my best to keep it clean, but no promises. Also NO WARRANTY OR GAURANTEE expressed or implied. On Feb-25-11 at 06:00:03 PST, seller added the following information: I will be out most ofthe day today so feel free to call 734-812-9255 Jeff
