Offered for sale, nice, first year TS400 in good original condition. Bike is un-molested, except for fenders that I went a different direction with. Would make an awesome bike to restore, but is absolutely a pleasure to ride as it sits. This big bike cranks easily, idles great, and has a light clutch action. When I first got this, I was really suprised how user friendly it is! It is geared tall, and with the torque monster motor and heavy flywheel, it pull down the road with effortless authority. Will sustain an estimated 65 mph without any problem. I say estimated, as one of the few problems with the bike is the function of the gauges. The speedo jumps around, and the tach had been doing the same until the last time I rode the bike. On that ride, the tach swung to the redline area, and stuck there. Look hard at the pictures, and please ask questions, as this bike has minor flaws that you may want particular info on. I tryed to show all areas. Tank is clean inside. See pic of paint chips and rust spot on outside. Two very shallow dents. Would be a nice tank to restore, or ride this baby just like it is. Handle bars are slightly bent, and tool box lid is missing. Another word about the fenders; I got the bike with the original front, but it was cracked. I already had a nos Suzuki white fender from another TS Suzuki, so I decided to mount it up and paint the original rear white to match it. This is the original rear, but it was faded, hence my decision to paint it. I believe the bike looks great with the white fenders, but TS experts will know they, and the tank, are supposed to be a kind of orangish-red color. This is original paint on everything else on the bike with the possible exception of the exhaust. I bought bike from son of original owner, and he was not totally sure of some history such as whether exhaust was painted in past. Tires are replacements that were on it when I got it. I have the original IRC tires that were saved by the owner. They are in good shape, and if I were going to keep the bike, I would put them back on. I have not titled bike in my state, as Alabama does not issue titles on bikes older than 1975. I do have original title with original owners signature to give to the buyer of this bike. I will provide bill of sale also. Check my feedback, and you will see that I am an honest, realistic seller. Not interested in any bidders who do not have intention of honoring the ebay system. Bid if you want to own the machine. Dont bid if you have any doubts about it. Will meet someone to deliver within 150 miles of my location for additional $60.00 over winning bid. Require $200.00 paypal deposit, with rest in cash at time of pick-up. Will accept certified bank check, but will hold bike for two weeks for surety of funds. Couple of points of question. Front headlight is not working at this time. Hard to tell for sure, but looks like bulb is blown. This bike did not come with blinkers from what I have researched. I have the original luggage rack for buyer. It has rust, and I dont like the way it looks, so I left it off when I installed painted rear fender.
