This collector belongs to a personal friend of mine, It has been in his family for over 20 years. It belonged to his brother which passed away last year. This car was personally restored 17 years ago, and its totally original with the original engine and original transmission. He performed an off body restoration and has a complete album with pictures of the restoration process. This car starts up every week like clock work; there are no major defects with the car. This car is not in pristine condition, but it looks beautiful and catches a great deal of attention. Engine: The engine runs perfect and starts up; there are no leaks and no major noises coming from the engine compartment. The manual transmission shifts perfectly between gears. The battery is the orignal 6 volt battery. All the lights and signals work properly. Exterior: The paint looks great, it has a beautiful two tone paint job, there are no signs of rust on the body. This Model A was repainted 17 years ago and it still shines very well. However, the paint has some spots of irregular flaws; nothing major a few spots of the paint running which can be easily repaired with wet sanding (nothing major). The paint was purchased from Ford and it was the original two tone color used in 1929. This car was repainted from top to bottom. The glass all around the car is in great shape. The rims and tires are original and are in great condion. Interior: The interior is in great shape and fully original, there are no rips nor tears on the seats nor the carpeting. All gauges work properly as well as, all the lights. All the windows go up and down perfectly. It comes with the orginal horn, mirrors and steering wheel and much more. The curtains go up and down perfectly. The headliner is in perfect condition. The wiper is original and only has the one on the drivers side (like in the original 1929). All the original knobs are present and work properly.
