Up for auction is an 89 Mustang Lx Notchback. There is so much money put into this car. The car spent its life as a show car, had only been down the track one time. I have a folder full of recipts that will go with the car and pictures of the car being rebuilt ground up. The interior was pulled out of the car including dash and sand blasted along with the entire outside of the car to bear metal. Full painted to match roll cage installed, full black interior including back seat. Blue Corbeau seat's, 2 1/16 Phantom gauges. Cervini's 4" cowl hood. The engine is a 351 stroked to a 357 with ( cca-k35-427-8 ) cam and lifter kit from summit, 351w Windage tray,7 qt oil pan, extended oil pump pick up, Victor Jr manifold, Fluidamper, Master torque starter, BBK Fulle lenght headers, 351 Dist, Borla mufflers, 15 gall fuel cell, Demon Carb, aluminum heads, all new molding, tubular K-member, tubular A-arms, caster camber plates, bump steer kit, offset rack bushings,Rear coilovers, Adjustable front struts......... The list keeps going but you get the idea. car went down the track one time to 11:82. Car is fully built for racing and can deff support alot more horse power then it has. There is one ding on the driver side fender the size of your finger nail and one small chip by the wiper blades. between the pric of the car when bought, paint and body work and engine work, suspention work, cage..... there is over 25,000.00 parts and labor in the car. There is maybe 1500 miles on the car since it was done. Has been stored in a heated garage.On Feb-16-11 at 05:37:57 PST, seller added the following information:The Mustang has a tremec trans with blow proof bell housing, stage 3 clutch, aluminum fly wheel, aluminum drive shaft, pro 5.0 shifter. The trans is the only part on the car with more miles then the build. transmission itself has est 60,000 miles on it but shifts great. The cage is a 12 point weld in and tied into the frame with swing-outs.
