This is a 1992 Ford Explorer seized in connection with a criminal investigation by the Milford Delaware Police Department. The vehicle was awarded to the City of Milford by the Delaware Courts and was titled to the City of Milford with no liens. The vehicle interior is dirty with tears to the leather seat covers, paint is in poor condition and there is no headliner. The sheet metal is in good shape, there is an aftermarket stereo (pioneer) and amplifiers in the vehicle which appear to be working. Vehicle has aftermarket aluminum rims with nearly new oversized tires. All glass is intact and all doors open and close. Vehicle starts and runs and shifts into all gears. Mileage shown does not appear to be correct and it is assumed the odometer has gone beyond its mechanical limits. It is unknown if electric seats function and/or if the electric window switches function properly. The vehicle was being driven at the time it was stopped and subsequently seized. The City of Milford offers no warranty on this vehicle and buyer gets the vehicle AS-IS. Buyer is responsible for shipping the vehicle and all costs associated with same. We are unable to accept Credit Cards, we do not finance, and we will not end the auction early to sell the vehicle privately. Full Payment is expected within 10 days of end of auction. Vehicle must be removed with 14 days of end of auction. The City of Milford reserves the right to withhold delivery of vehicle until personal checks clear or Money Orders can be confirmed.
