READ EVERYTHING BEFORE BIDDING PLEASE........READ EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU BID.............. **The reserve price is set at $2500.00 which is a great price for this car** I am selling my 1970 AMC Gremlin....It is a nice little car that has been taken good care of. The engine is a 232 6 cylinder with a T96 3 speed transmission. The clutch is new and the engine was overhauled last year and painted the original color. The new engine has less than a 300 miles on it. It has a new timing chain, the valves and heads were redone, new cam. It runs and drives great.As far as I know the car has the original engine and transmission. I had the brakes done all the way around but forgot to have the brake cylinders replace and ow they are leaking. It does need new back brake cylinders before it can be driven any distance. The tires are worn but not bad. I have over $2000 into the engine alone!!!!! THIS IS A GREAT DEAL FOR THIS CAR........ The car was bought brand new in Oregon City, Oregon then sold to a guy who kept it for a short time before I bought it. The car was always kept in a garage until about a 6 months ago when I moved and dont have a garage anymore. I have taken very good care of my car has did the people who owned it before me. The dash board has NO cracks in it all. The body has a dent in the front under the bumper and the rear has a dent under the bumper. Easy fixes. It has a locking gas cap with the gremlin on it. The front sides have the gremlin emblems on it. It has vacuum wipes and the original wiper fluid bag. This is a very nice little car for someone to continue restoring. Has the original AM radio. The drivers seat has a spring sticking up in it and needs repair. The other seats are good. The headliner as some spots that are sagging but not bad. Has a spare tire in the back. The glass is great all the way around. I had the windows tinted all the way around. The drivers side window tint is scratched due to the window falling down inside the door. I replaced all the window roller parts inside the doors. It has a locking gas cap that has the gremlin on it and it also has the gremlin emblems on both sides of the front end. I have taken very good care of my little car. I really love the car and hate to part with it. But times are very hard for me right now and I gotta let it go. :(....I would like to see the car to go to someone who will care for it and keep restoring it as I have. It is to nice to let a teen drive and destroy it.
