We bought this van in 2006 with 2300 miles on it. It came from a dealer we know who rebuilds salvage vehicles, We looked at it before he fixed it. It was not bad at all.We came back after the repair was finished and it looked like a brand new van. We paid for it and have 120,000 miles on it now. It has been used for my wife to go to college on and carry the kids around.It has a cold ac,everything works. It started skipping last year and I put four new coil packs on it at about 150.00 each.There is 6, I couldn't get to the other 2. The skipping stopped and recently started back. I then took the van to a mechanic and he checked it on a dia. machine and suggested to change the other packs and we did, this didn't fix the skip. The mechanic said we need to change an injector and it would be anouther 400.00.We didn't want to keep giving this guy money, when he just makes another guess. We then went to another mechanic, he wanted to sell us another motor. We really didn't know what we wanted to do.I wanted to fix it and my wife was ready for a new one. We have always taken care of our vehicles and always get alot of miles out of them. My wife went and found a new van and bought it. I could fix this one and use it for work, but I would like to just sell it and be done with it. It starts and idels but has quit on me. Its kinda like the altenator isn't working. I have checked it and it seems to be working. You can jump it off and go on after that. Theres a little white smoke ( gas overload I guess). Tires are good and breaks are new. I need to sell it and am taking offers. The worst case senerio would be a new motor, that would be around $2,000 after that you've got a heck of a nice van for little money.I am taking offers.This vehicle is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end auction early.
