*RARE* VOLKSWAGEN INVADER GT 1974 VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE WITH *RARE* INVADER GT KIT GET'S LOOKS FROM EVERYONE!!! THIS IS AN AWESOME LOOKING STYLE OF CAR AND THE BODY IS IN VERY GOOD SHAPE FOR ITS AGE. IT IS TITLED AS A 1974 VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE AND IS ON AN EARLIER SWING AXLE CHASSIS. THE INCLUDED TITLE IS A CLEAR COLORADO TITLE AND INCLUDES THE 1974 VW BODY VIN PLATES WHICH THE STATE OF COLORADO TITLED THE CAR WITH. INCLUDED ARE THE ORIGINAL RIMS THAT WERE NORMALLY USED ON A LOT OF THESE INVADER GT'S WHICH ARE EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND. I HAVE HAD OFFERS FOR JUST THE WHEELS BUT WOULD PREFER THAT THEY STAY WITH THE CAR. THE BODY IS VERY SOLID FOR ITS AGE. THE FLOORS DO NEED ATTENTION AND THE WINDSHIELD IS CRACKED. THE CAR DOES NEED TLC BUT SHOULDN'T TAKE LONG TO GET GOING. JUST ADD AN ENGINE - NOT INCLUDED AND A FEW LITTLE THINGS. THE BRAKES DO WORK BUT WE HAD TO PUMP THEM AS THE CAR HAS SAT FOR AWHILE. THE CAR DOES NEED TO BE CLEANED UP AND COSMETICS DONE FOR IT TO LOOK REAL GOOD. THE HINGES ON THE PLEXIGLASS DOORS COULD USE A LITTLE TWEAKING TO MAKE JUST RIGHT BUT DO OPEN AND CLOSE. NEEDS A BATTERY. THE TIRES ARE IN NICE CONDITION AND STILL HAS THE LITTLE RUBBER WHISKERS LIKE WHEN THEY WERE FIRST PURCHASED. HAS THE FIBERGLASS SEATS INSTALLED. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK QUESTIONS. THIS WOULD BE A FUN PROJECT AND WOULD BE A BLAST TO DRIVE OR RACE ONCE ITS DONE!!! This kit was based on the Ferrari Dino 246GTS . Produced by Autokit , Oakland , California. WE CURRENTLY HAVE A COUPLE PROJECTS OF OUR OWN AND HAVE TO LET THIS GO. MY SON WILL BE USING THE FUNDS TOWARDS HIS FIRST CAR WHICH IS A 69 VW BEETLE ... LOL SO YOUR HELP IS APPRECIATED AS HE IS JUST GETTING READY TO DRIVE. $200 deposit via PayPal is required within 24 hours of auction end. The balance is due within 5 days of auction end in the form of a US Postal Money order or a Cashiers Check drawn from a Major US Bank. No personal checks or foreign checks. We prefer and will give you a full 21 days from the time this auction ends but if you need more time, please let us know before the auction ends so that we can make arrangements and both agree on a timeline. If you are local it is your responsibility to inspect the car before you place a bid as your bid is a legal and binding contract. It is the buyers responsibility for pickup and transportation of the vehicle. The vehicle must be picked up at our residence in Colorado Springs. The picture in RED is for reference as what these cars can look like when fully restored and is not the car being sold. I do have other original pictures from original flyers on the computer showing the wheels that match the ones on the car that we are selling.
