Please note: This vehicle is in need of the Safety Inspection. It has it's Emissions inspection done in September, good until 9/11. I had this vehicle taken in for the Safety Inspection this month, on 2/11/11, and received an estimate of parts and labor from Meineke in Hershey, PA (see photo of estimimate/bill). Repairs needed are the Exhaust to include an oil Gasket due to a small leakage; a muffler with pipe/ clamp, and Tail pipe; other Safety repairs are new replacement windshield wipers as original ones still work, just worn as is original wipers from 1994, as are all the parts are original from 1994. They also listed, "secure license plate", which I have done myself. The inspector was impressed that the vehicle still had all it's original parts. The Tires are still very good, were previously replaced, and brakes are good. Please remember that this is an estimate from Meineke to include their new parts and high labor, estimating to cost me about $500 which I do not have. I just got another vehicle and no longer need this vehicle, so am selling it "AS IS" for the buyer to fix to their satisfaction. You may know someone to buy cheaper parts and do the labor at a much reduced cost. I have put this vehicle up for auction at NO RESERVE due to your cost to fix vehicle to pass safety inspection. Car does work as it is now, and runs well, in great shape inside and out for a classic 1994. Recent inspection indicated no damage to frame or engine in prior salvage title; Past reconstruction to vehicle, indicated on Carfax report, appears to be to exterior only. Pick-Up vehicle ONLY; no shipping; live in Lebanon County PA, 20 minutes from Hershey PA.On Feb-13-11 at 15:24:09 PST, seller added the following information: Meineke scanned for check engine light as Follows: Ford DTC's (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) 214 (M) Error in Cylinder ID (CID) circuit or signal - Ignition Systems- could need fuel injector cleaning or be due to the repair needed for the oil gasket 172 Oxygen sensor not switching - system is or was lean - Single, Right or Rear HO2S - Fuel control - something to do with the air flow/pressure, which could be due to the muffler needing replaced.
