The car was put in storage a year after my brother went over-seas. I don't know much about the car but it was his baby. It used to run and was a blast to drive. It wasn't prepped for long time storage, and I know the vehicle has suffered some damage as a result. It was put in storage about 2 years after he went over seas and we moved it to a garage about a year ago. When the vehicle was placed in storage the battery was removed. It started and we drove it to storage, that's about the amount of info i have on the car. Its now time to realize he isn't coming back and its time to sell the car. With a little work it will be back to its full glory. 1989 model, first sold in 1991. I have not seen any rust, however the car hasnt been locked at by a pro. The paint is fading, but there are no dents or body damage. The front seats do show wear, however the rest of the interior is in good condition. I figured I would add that was contacted by someone that has a complete interior, almost new, for this car, everything except the carpeting. Has seats, door panels, pillars, headliner, etc. Willing to sell for $1000 plus shipping. And they have other 228 parts as well.
