I own an import automotive repair shop and had a customer drop this car off for service. The car had been sitting for slightly over a year as the customer was going through a divorce. With a recent divorce now behind him, the customer has decided to sell the car. This is your chance to get a Jaguar XJS convertible at a bargain price. The car will need some work as I have not performed any service on it. It does have many good parts and could be reasonably rehabbed into a wonderful example of this iconic Jaguar model. Known good qualities of vehicle: Clean interior - dash and seats look very good. Paint is in good condition. Wheels are exceptionally clean and free from blemishes. OE equipment replacement Pirellis are in good condition After charging battery car started right up! Known issues needing attention: Misfire - Engine has misfire probably due to ignition wires and/or spark plugs and thus the engine is consuming a lot of raw fuel. Exhaust - Right side converter gets very hot when running due to unburnt fuel and would recommend replacing exhaust on that side. Convertible top - Tears in top; requires replacement. Oil leaks - Engine has "typical" mild oil leaks and the power steering is leaking slightly as well.
