First time on E-Bay and selling at NO RESERVE, highest bidder takes it home! Car is located in Petaluma, California where most of American Graffiti was filmed. Vehicle ID # VB57L166848 Engine # F410FC – 283 4V The previous owner purchased this car on May 31, 1974 and had owned it until December 2, 2010 when he went into the care of the local County Public Guardian. I have a new CLEAR AND CLEAN California title, car is currently in Non-Operational status with the state DMV. NO past DMV fees. Clear and usable California Blue License plates. Very rare numbers matching wagon, this car is all there. Everything is original off the assembly line except the two barrel carburetor that the previous owner installed in 1979 to save money when gas went up to .99 cents a gallon (he has this fact noted in his maintenance log). This car was parked on his property since 1980 and for the last 30+ years, he had it under an open roof alongside Cypress Tree Hedge which grew over the car damaging the right side glass. Body is in good shape, has surface rust but no noticeable cancer in body, the floors have rust through holes in them, (as seen in pictures), and the tailgate lower jamb has rust, (as seen in pictures). The doors, hood, door jambs and body are very solid. Car has the original paint, interior and is completely UNMOLESTED!!!Original hubcaps are missing, has 1965 Chevelle hubcaps on it. All passenger side glass is damaged from the Cypress tree being along side of the car, windshield has numerous BB chips. I have not been able to open the driver’s side rear door. This car RUNS!! Car has been started and engine has ran for about two solid hours with no issues, yes there are some oil leaks, but it has no engine noises and does not overheat. The car has been driven about two miles on private property and shifts through all gears. This vehicle has NO BRAKES AND WILL HAVE TO BE TRAILERED!Biased ply tires hold air but are cracked. Factory options include 283 4V, (now a 2V), Tinted glass, dual exhaust, Radio, Heater, Two Tone Paint. This is a “L” code car sold new in California.
