Hi up for sale is my long time project that unfortunately has to be sold for a down payment for a new house. this is a 1996 mitsubishi 3000gt vr-4 all wheel drive, all wheel STEERING, twin turbo, 6 speed monster that i have put well over $30,000 into. But i am looking to sell for a very reasonable price just to get my home buying off to a good start and finally get this car back on the road where it belongs because i just dont have the time or resources for it anymore. lets start off with some of the good stuff, spared no expense when the car was being built, most from 3sx.com which is the premier 3000gt shop in the U.S.. No ebay knock off parts found on this car only high quality. and because its a vr-4 it comes with full leather black interior, power sunroof, 8 way adjustable seats including adjustable side bolsters to plant you in the seats, Infinity sound system with amp, Interior is awesome just has a tear on driver seat from getting in and out, other than that its perfect. and now for the upgrade list. EXTERIOR full ebruni body kit with molded side skirts shaved door panels for a rounder look. HID low beam headlight conversion Full paint job in metallic orange that changes shades in sunlight ( engine removed for process and all door jams painted $4500) Clear JDM corner lights Z3 fenders Brand new enkei black with chrome lip rims 18" (stock size so no suspension issues) Brand new (maybe 30 miles) khumo ecsta SPT tires 245/45zr18 Ground control adjustable coil overs all the way around adjust ride height up to 2 inches (highest height shown in pictures) converted to euro style single wiper blade INTERIOR GTO Indiglo gauges with color inverter (green and blue with dimmer control) HKS turbo timer Apexi SAF-C II (fuel controller) Apexi AVC-R (electronic boost controller) ENGINE full engine dress up kit in red with 3sx.com polished plug cover on front Matrix twin turbo cone intake from 3sx ($80) new battery Huge Apexi stage 3 front mount intercooler Hard pipe upgrade to the cool side of the intake pipes Gready blow off valve (not ebay knock off) Newer timing belt 3sx stainless steel down pipe 3sx stainless steel test pipe custom exhaust into a y pipe to two 4 inch tip matix exhust magnecor iridium race plugs and wires newer stage 2 clutch installed when i bought the car That should be about everything dont know if i left something out or not, but the car has a hell of alot done to it, even the previous owner owned his own performance shop in MA. and im sure has had engine internals replaced because the car was in pristine condition and i remember him telling me at one point but forget what all he said he'd done to the car so didnt want to try and lie on the description, but the engine is very healthy, i would say with the common upgrade to the 3mm lifters it would be bulletproof. Now for the bads. Crack in front bumper from someone who cant parallel park, Car was broken into and had the door handle ripped off and the passenger window broken so i replaced both but the door handle is black but doesnt look bad, matches the new rims well and works just fine (kept original lock cylinder so key works also) but there are some scratches around that area from them prying it off not horrible. and also a dent near that handle about the size of a quarter, during the window break they cracked the little fake plastic window in front of the sail panel purely cosmetic doesnt leak water or anything. I took the spoiler off because my friend wanted it for a great price and havent gotten a new one yet so you'll need to fill in the holes or just get a new wing, i personally like it better without one, they stole the aftermarket boost and a/f ratio gauges (still has stock boost gauge plus the electronic boost controller so gauge not a big deal anyways) all wiring still there tho so an easy hook up if you want to replace them. as well as the avcr and safc which ive replaced $300 a piece, and it doesnt have a radio, but i took that out to put in my talon so aftermarket wiring harness and stock amp integration kit still there and ready to be hooked up. car starts right up and runs good but idles a little funky some times due to a bad iac motor, doesnt make it undriveable just surges its idle untill the car warms up,just like every other DSM on the road($80 new on ebay look it up) . And the indiglo gauge for the speedometer got condensation behind it so it doesnt work sometimes, and has just developed a coolant leak but is completely dry underneath for every other fluid and has just started leaking, it never leaked anything as of 3 weeks ago, sometimes 3rd is tricky to get into. and since the fuel and boost controllers were stolen the tune that i payed for of coarse was reset when i bought the new units so you will need to get it re tuned for full potential to be achieved because ive just got it on a base tune right now so i could drive it, so tune it yourself or let a shop do it. Seems like a lot bad but its mostly little things and some is not a necessity right now just a suggestion, i am really picky about stuff working right so just wanted to be completely honest about everything. every other electronic part of the car works flawlessly even the power antenna which is usually the first to go. now for the recent stuff. as described brand new battery, new rims/tires, just changed the transmission, transfer case, and rear diff fluid with mobil one full syn gear lube . mobil 1 used for engine oil also, and 4 wheel alignment done at time of tires/rims (last year), used to be garaged kept at all times but recently moved so comes with the best car cover advanced auto carries ($120). wanted to do more but should really just save up for my home purchase. This car is awesome and turns all kinds of heads everywhere even when in your drive way, but as stated car does start and run good but is just in need of some basic preventative maintenance from someone with more time than me (i have three tuners plus a family taking all my time lol), trust me you'll love this car once its back on the road, i hate to sell it but it needs to go so bid freely and the reserve is DIRT CHEAP for what you will be receiving. vehicle is sold as is and i have title in hand and is clear with no crashes! and i am willing to negotiate all or some of the shipping cost out of the selling price of the car just send me the quote in an email or something and we can work it out, im a very reasonable person
