This is a 1965 Ghia Convertible. They only made 710 of these and there are less than 50 that can be found. I purchased this vehicle in 1995 and was an Arizona car which means it is 98% rust free. I Have had it here in Oregon for the last 10 years and it has always been garaged. The car had 42,000 miles on it which was indicated by the previous title when I purchased it. After 45 years of age, I put on a new canvas top (Hopps oregon City, 1800.00), which should indicate how well it has been taken care of. I had the entire vehicle gone thru by Heckman/Theiman to make sure the original 6 volt system was perfect and the engine was great (1600.00). I just had it tuned January 230.00) The top is Oyster white with a Mercedes Yellow paint which is 20 years old It is sound but really needs to be repainted. There are several scratches and and two small creases in the sides. The origianl color of the vehicle was white. I have 500.00 worth of seals and rubber gaskets to include new door hiinges as the original cause the doors to not close perfectly tight, which I will include in the sale.
