Vehicle Detail

1969 GRAND PRIX SJ, SOUTHERN VIRGINIA CAR, NEEDS RESTORATION, NOT RUNNING Here is a nice, unmolested, one owner before me 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ, original color antique gold, gold leather interior, very heavily loaded with many rare options, 428 (not HO), automatic, leather seats, rally II wheels, tilt wheel, cruise control, wood steering wheel, power windows, power locks, power bucket seat, reclining passenger seat, FM stereo, rear defroster, automatic temperature control a/c, safe-t-track rear. General condition very good, needs restoration, car was repainted limelight green many years ago, gold leather interior is original condition, only rusted through area is bottom of left door (should be repairable with a patch), car has not been started or driven in many years. Tires are old and will not hold air, car will need to be trailered. Currently being stored in Wilmington, DelawareOn Feb-10-11 at 16:36:54 PST, seller added the following information: I have had many questions about certain things: The driver door has a rust hold in it about the size of a tennis ball, a patch panel should take care of it as 69 doors are unique due to the design of the interior door release system I will try to add more photos Saturday The car is stored at a friend's house in Wilmington, Delaware under a carport, the engine cranks, will not start, the brakes are sticking from corrosion, 3 tires are leaking air The California plates are just for show and have nothing to do with the car The body is excellent except for the driver door and if you look at the photo of the right quarter panel you can see starting to rust just on the bottom by the moulding I have owned this car for 5 years, I bought it unexpectedly and planned to restore it, Unfortunately, I have too many other projects and I cannot give this car the restoration it deserves at this time The car is also locally for sale I will be available Saturday February 12, in the morning to show the car to anyone locally interestedOn Feb-12-11 at 10:11:44 PST, seller added the following information: added information: The engine block is stamped XF, intake, heads all appear original also The interior is generally good/original/worn, there is a crack in the driver door panel armrest, the right bucket seat side trim is split at the recliner lever, the rear seat is split at seam on top of backrest The trunk has surface rust but is solid, jack and spare have never been out I have added some more pictures
