Vehicle Detail
Item is being relisted due to non-paying bidder, if you're going to come and nit pick a car for an hour and a half, drive it in the rain and then say you just don't want the car b/c the body lines are not absolutely perfect and you don't know what's under the vinyl top!!! It's a brand new vinyl top with no bubbles. There's a metal roof under it, what the hell else do you think is under it?!?! Don't waste my time, please go bid on someone else's car. The car looks pretty much just like it does in the pictures...no it's not a perfect 100 point show car but I didn't advertise it that way. Look at the pictures, that's what the car looks like and if it's not enough I have a lot more pictures of the car if you would like to see any other views. Car has approx. 5,000 miles since being restored. Up for auction is a very clean 1969 Nova. the car was originally a 350 - powerglide car with factory A/C. Just about every part on this car has been replaced with new. It shows very well and sounds great. Cruises down the highway straight as an arrow and stops on a dime. This car makes a very, very nice driver....I just drove it over the weekend from Raleigh to the other side of Greensboro, around town and back (just under 400 miles all together) and did not have a single issue. Started right up even though it was 28-degrees out. The car is for sale of trade locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any given time. I may take a trade on a project camaro , corvette , chevelle or anything with an LS1 / LS2 / LS3 / LS6 / LS7 – T56 drivetrain. If you have any questions or would like to take a look at the car please feel free to contact me anytime at 336.339.6867. Thanks, Rick Below is a list of all the new parts that are on this car. - Dupont Cortez Silver paint (not 100 point show quality but the car is very straight and shows well) - GM Crate 350 engine - Rebuilt Turbo 350 transmission - New CPP disc brake conversion kit (complete with all new power booster / master cylinder / rotors / calipers / hard and flex lines & clips) - New radiator with chrome top cover - New Optima Redtop battery - New battery cables - New starter - New pulleys and belts - New hood with insulation inserts - New hood hinges - New hood upper hood trim and eyebrow moldings - New Trim Parts center hood molding - New battery tray and clamp - New core support - New body bushings - New grill - New vinyl top - New windshield - New GM headlight buckers - New front bumper - New front bumper brackets and bolts - New front bumper filler panel - New rear bumper - New rear bumper brackets and bolts - New Nova emblems - New taillights - New 350 turn signal housings (Trim Parts) - New door handles - New lock assemblies - New left and right floor pans - New trunk pan - New seat skins and foam - New headliner - New dome light and bezel - New carpet - New rear view mirror - New package tray - New door panels - New weatherstripping throughout - New dash pad - New CD player w/ iPod jack - New 6” x 9” speakers in the rear - New seat belts - New door sill plates - New door strikers - New window fuzzies - New factory stickers (door jambs / trunk lid / air cleaner) - Date coded SS wheels - New set of Gabriel shocks - New rear multileaf springs - New shackle and bushing kit - New front SB coils - New upper and lower control arms - New Flowmaster exhaust - New Edelbrock carb - New Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake - New air cleaner assembly and filter - New throttle linkage - New gas tank (Canadian made) - New fuel cap - New finned aluminum diff cover Only notable issues with the car would be that the brake pedal pad is missing (i bought the wrong size and never got around to getting the correct one), the headers are an older set of headers and a new set would look better in the engine bay, the vent window seals are hard, and the original heat and A/C are not hooked up (missing A/C components). Otherwise this car needs nothing but a new owner, just changed oil, trans fluid, power steering fluid and diff fluid about 600 miles ago. Also, the kick panels have been dyed and will need to be redone on the edges (I may have this done by the time the auction ends). I will also be listing some 1960 Biscayne / Impala / Nomad parts - Impala dash trim, power brake setup, power steering setup, Nomad emblems, steering wheels, fenders, seats, glass, stainless trim, taillight bezels, window regulators, etc. I have 3 parts cars for sale as well ( two 2-door biscaynes and one Nomad wagon) if interested in any 1960 parts just ask. Any YES, the 1969 Roadrunner in the background is also for sale and will be listed in the next couple weeks. Numbers matching 383 / 4-speed / Air Grabber / SureGrip / bucket seats with build sheet. On Feb-10-11 at 05:48:42 PST, seller added the following information: UPDATE.....RESERVE HAS BEEN REMOVED!!!! I'VE ALSO LOWERED THE "BUY-IT-NOW" OPTION, AS IT WILL BE GONE AFTER THE NEXT BID MEETS RESERVE!!!!
