I purchased this car in 1975. Drove it for 3 yrs and got the drivers side tail fin hit. I had repairs done on it but there not great. Car was running with nothing wrong with it except clutch was going out. Has a 1962 Vett. 327 w/340 hp according to serial numbers also still had origional carter carb. on it.. The car would run. It has a 69 Camaro Z28 rearend with 4/11 positrac . An it has heavy manual 3 speed on floor. The car has been sitting on blocks not in dirt since 1978. It has a rust hole below each door wich is typical. The hood is a extra and no good and the old one got run over by a tractor. The interior paint on dash is good and the seats are so so. The rear bumber has alot of rust on it but the front is pretty good with origional rockets on it, also had a different grill than the others. Serial numbers of motor end in RE I soaked the carb with marvel mystery oil and parked it. Has 69 Z 4/11 posi trac rearend and heavy duty manual 3 speed. Car has been on blocks since 1978. Interior has had wear and there are rust holes under the doors and one on roof near rear window. The hood is no good either. Car is basically dent free. This 327 was in perfect cond. along with trani and rearend. I will knock $500.00 off top bid if you do not want the motor and only want the car. I have been asked to turn it over but Im not going to screw up a good engine for someones curiosity. Yes you probably will have to break it down and clean it up but you will not find any blowed pistons or rods broke or any broken block. It was a great engine and the carb has been covered up and i took off cover for u to see. Dirtdobbers and rats have been on top of course its in the country. But the 500 still stands I will pull the engine if you dont want it. The rearend and trani are in just as good a shape nothing at all wrong other than they been sitting.
