Attention Masochists/Corvair lovers, beautiful and rare 1963 Chevy Corvair 700 2-Door for sale, Power Glide Automatic. New parts include; electric fuel pump (I saved the original mechanical pump), most of the fuel lines, muffler, left carburetor (right was rebuilt), vacuum hoses, spark plugs, points, rotor, condenser, fan belt, and several more I can't think of at the moment. Nearly ALL parts purchased from Clark's Corvair of Shelburne Falls, MA. Vehicle was entirely restored by previous owner in the early 90s (tool and die maker). This car is a head turner. Vehicle has been garaged since I've had it. Repainted original color; Azure Aqua Metalic. A few minor paint scratches on passenger side door and above passenger side front wheel well; I have a small bottle and pen of touch-up paint of original color~included.. All original chrome trim in good condition; exception, rear chrome grill (just under the rear bumper) has dent and needs to be re-worked or replaced. Interior is two-tone, azure aqua/white. Upholstery is soft, clean and unripped (looks to be original). Thumb-size hole in the head liner. Minor scratches on the metal dashboard. I have what looks to be an original AM radio that has yet to be installed under the dash~included. Flat six runs like a champ in neutral, loses power and stalls alot in drive/reverse etc. ***WILL require a little mechanical work to be a reliable road car; hence the low price. ***Will require a vehicle trailer to pick-up unless you are a mechanic who can do an on the spot Corvair tune-up.*** It has the usual Corvair traits; leaks a little oil and burns oil quickly (gotta love the air-cooled engines). ***The odometer says 53,000, its a five digit readout, I have NO idea what the actual mileage is. Why am I selling? I haven't had the time to drive/show and maintain the vehicle as much as I had hoped when I bought it. Buyer MUST arrange to have vehicle picked-up.
