2006 BMW K1200 S This is a no res auction for a very nice motorcycle. Ok so I am still a bit new at this ebay selling. I will answer your questions as best I can. I have had this bike for about a year now and it has never given me a problem. It starts right up and runs perfect. It has more bells and whistles than I have ever seen on a bike. Anti-lock brakes to on the fly adjustable suspension. ( 3 settings, soft med and stiff) 2 modes for the heated grips. And an info center on the panel that gives fuel economy, distance till empty, and external temp, and time. It is fuel injected and shaft drive. It also has 2 ports for communication helmets. Mechanically it is in perfect shape. Perfectly tuned, and rides straight, stops on a dime. It does not leak/burn any fluids and all electronics work as they should. It has current NC inspection and is stock as far as I know. The exhaust pipe may be aftermarket. It is a fairly quiet bike until you hit it and then it roars down the road. The title is clean but is a salvage title and here is why. It was in a slow speed front end bump that broke a small part in steering assembly(not sure of the right term) anyway it allowed the front forks to slide forward and up so that it cracked the headlight and then laid on its right side. So here is the damage list....front end repair and new headlamp. Other than than that it has non-repaired damage, a scratch on the front rim, small scratches on the right fairing by your knee, a small ding in the exhaust pipe. I felt no need to repair cosmetic damage(you can tell by the pics it looks good). If the bike runs true, straight and fast, it is good with me. So whoever owned it before me turned it over to the insurance company and they "totaled it". I have the original pics of damage. Front tire is pretty new and the rear has good tread left. This is a truly sweet bike and someone will really enjoy it. And I thought the same as you, when you brake it probably shakes or pulls. It rides true and I will refund your money when you pick up the bike if you think its not a "mechanically perfect" bike. You will not want your $ back though.
