up for sale is a 1995 lincoln town car executive series. chassis has 201,500 miles but engine was repalced 70,000 miles ago (long block) . runs great, very strong mechanicaly! transmission shifts smooth as new. interior is 100% just typical leather spider webing as would be expected with age of vehicle. only mechanical emission problem is a possible defective e.g.r. valve cost is 100.00 dollars for a new one. i will replace it if reserve price is met! doe's not effect how it runs at all, just a emission item that helps lower the nox(emissions in exhaust system). tires are in great shape, air ride is operational and nothing i mean nothing at all is needed with this car. history on car is that the first 20,000 miles it was a budget rental car, after that (9 months old) it has been a 1 owner car. i purchased it and made small needed repairs and am reselling it. i do this as a side hobby, i am a current a.s.e. master certified auto technician so basically i buy, repair and sell nice clean mechanically reliable vehicles. i do have pass code(keyless entry) for door,trunk etc.. this lincoln has a flawless body(unless i have missed something) interior is in very nice condition. elderly couple has owned it since it was 9 months old. ex owner is currently 72 years old, so needless to say it has been extreamly well taken care of. the reason the engine was replaced (i was told by ex owner) is that after a oil change the filter leaked all the oil out and had excessive engine noise after he was alerted to the oil light coming on. so sounds like one of those oil change service places bought a engine for this car. who ever replaced the engine did a very nice job, i have looked it over and everything is in order. car is located 20 miles north of louisville,ky. would be willing to meet/deliver vehicle with-in a 100 mile radius of louisville,ky. any questions just ask. i will check daily and get right back to all questions. thanks for looking Dave. can phone me at (812) 406-7251.
