1961 Ford Falcon Sedan. I bought this falcon in March of 2009, tore it all apart to have it completly redone, inside and out. Ill list everything that is new on the falcon. New carpet, New Door Panels in front, New door panels in back, New drivers side floor pan, New under coating on new floor pan, New 16gal fuel tank, New fuel sending unit, New Headliner, New tail light lens, New front seats upholstery, New rear seats upholstery, New windshield weatherstrip seal, New rear windshield weatherstrip seal, New rear differential gear oil, New transmission tailshaft oil seal, New spark plugs, New wires, New rotor, New rotor cap, New points and condensor. New heater core, and new paint. I will now list things that are left to finish, I have a brand new black headliner and bows, that need to be installed. Will need to have wind lacing, I have installed some weatherstrip around the tops of the doors, but will need to install some on the bottom. I have currently wired up a temporary turn signal switch to the steering column, works fine, these can be bought on ebay fairly cheap. Will need a new radio antenna, old one is hooked up, but does not work, will need a new heater switch at some point, current switch works, but is starting to go out, falcons are notorious for these switches going out, they sell an after market replacement here on ebay as well. Paint job looks really good, I do drive this falcon everyday, so there is a few minor imperfections on the paint. The most noticeable one on the front pass fender. It has a crack in the paint at the very bottom of the fender-I have added a picture of this. Rear bumper has a small dent it, nothing major. The trunk has NO rust. Car runs and drives really well, very good acceleration, very good braking. Started right up this morning. Falcon has the 170ci inline 6. As you can see in the pictures, the engine is VERY CLEAN! Falcon is 3 speed manual transmission, on the column, Transmission shifts with ease, no binding, or jamming. Clutch works just as well. Exhaust has been rerouted to pass side due to bigger fuel tank. Speedometer says 70,402, I am not sure if this is orignal or not, of course the guy I bought the falcon from, said it was. But I will tell you she runs as though it is, she doesnt miss a beat from the moment I turn the key, Very good acceleration, I was surprised, as this was my first straight 6. This is a GREAT FALCON! I drive it daily, only a few minor things left. I dont have the time or the money to finish. I am selling my falcon because I have recently been let go from a job I have worked at for 7yrs, The business has closed down. There for need to pay the bills. I will ship the falcon if the buyer sets it all up. otherwise it is local pick up please. Buyer to pay $500 thru paypal at auctions end, do to getting people who bid and do not pay.
