One of the cutest Classic Italian cars!! Folks, this car has undergone is a nice refreshed restoration. It has been recently imported from Europe, and looks to have been restored 3-5 years back. The car runs, shifts and drives great. Brakes work well. If you are not familiar with the Fiat 500s, you can go to www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiat_500 for a pretty good summary of the car. These cars are 'powered' by a 2 cylinder rear mounted engine, the gas tank is under the front hood. This car features the larger engine for the 500, which is a 549 cc engine as opposed to the 499 cc standard engine. The extra power of the larger engines gives you a higher top speed and more power on slopes. Includes the European license plates. After completely going through the car, we replaced the following items brand new on the car: Flip top soft top frame Choke cableTurn signal switch and flasherBoth front wheel brake cylindersOuter tie rod ends The engine was inspected, and the carburetor cleaned. The glass is in good shape, there is some wiper blade scuffing on the windshield. Battery OK. Keys & locks all work. The paint job is a nice driver quality, not perfect, there are a few minor blemishes/defects/dings. Interior is all in nice shape, near new. Tires are in good shape, still with plenty of wear left. There is no spare, but rims and tires are readily available aftermarket. This car is great fun to drive and always gets attention! The car has a valid Utah title certificate, titled in my dealership name. Most parts for this car, if ever needed, are available in the US at www.fiatplus.com and at the eBay store http://stores.ebay.com/Everything-Fiat and some other locations in the US and online. As with all vintage cars, I cannot warrant odometer readings. The odometer reading listed in the auction is the actual odometer reading converted to miles. Also, a note on the title, the title certificate indicates the car is a model year 1971, however, consulting the Italian VIN charts, the car is actually a 1966. I am a licensed and bonded car dealer and vintage car restorer in the State of Utah, Piccione's, #5869, which is important if you are financing the car through your bank, as dealer issued sales typically get lower interest rates than person to person sales. Financing may also available through eBay or some other online sources. Buyer pays for shipping (I can help arrange transport if you like, I have some cheap connections for various parts of the country). Payment may be by certified bank check or money order, by wire transfer to bank account, or by loan check or personal check once cleared. Paypal is only acceptable through verified accounts for the initial deposit only. The buyer will submit a 5% of purchase price deposit within 72 hours of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle by PayPal or other verifiable payment method unless this requirement is waived by the seller after the auction end. Buyer agrees to pay the remaining balance due within 7 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle. Based on the age of the car I cannot warrant odometer readings. As all vintage cars I sell, I cannot warrant specific year, make and model. The car is available for inspection. Please remember that an eBay bid is a binding legal contract, not just some intention to consider purchase. Buyer is responsible (if applicable) for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered in.
