1980 Suzuki GS

I have for auction one of my 1980 GS750E's.I say one because I had 4 at one time and I am thinning out the herd.This one was what I considered my "Road Dog".It runs great and looks real good from 10' but does have its nicks and scratches from being 30 years old.I ride it on long rides not to put too many miles on my clean restored gs750e.Don't get me wrong I get compliments everytime I ride it,its just not a show bike like 1 of the other bikes I have.Well heres what the low downis.Last spring I bought 2 new Dunlop 404's now have around 1500 miles on them,good to go all season,new rear brake pads,new seat cover,new tank emblems,replaced side cover emblems with nice clean used OEM badges,the carbs were removed,soaked,cleaned and completely rebuilt,bench synched,installed and then synched on the bike.Replaced all engine bolts with stainless allen head bolts for maintenance and looks,Has chrome brake link arm ,air cover on valve cover is chromed.new plugs,oil is changed frequently not by mileage(cheapest thing you'll ever buy for any motor),I just had front and rear sprocket,and chain replaced last week.The only thing I might think about having done is a new clutch or clutch cable.It feels kind of stiff but I always thought the previous owner had put stronger clutch springs in it.There is no issue with the clutch slipping I just think the clutch is stiffer than a stock clutch.It has high output coils.4 into1 Vance and Hines header exhaust,could use a repaint this Spring but sounds awesome not too loud unless you crank the throttle hard.All gauges,lights,blinkers,and horn works as it should.Would have no problem passing any state inspection.(they are not required in Illinois) Its a good running,clean old bike.I would not be afraid to leave for either coast on her.And all with keeping you holding on tight because she will still keep your heart racing and the adrenaline flowing.She's a blast on the curves.She is currently licensed,registered,and insured in Illinois.I rode her down to the station and topped her off with premium today and got complimented as soon as I pulled up..Just looking for a new home,I have gotten into the V-Twin Suz's and trying to make room for new interests.I also have a buch of parts for these and the Gs1100E 1980-81. OK I Removed the Reserve so this bike will be in someone elses garage so bid to make yours! Thanks for Looking.
