1987 BMW 535is Red/Black Automatic Runs Good Aftermarket Wheels CD Player You are looking at my 1987 535is. If you are looking at this ad then you know about the bullet proof e28's so there is no need to give a book lesson on these cars. I have owned this for for about 9 months, I own several BMW's and originally bought this one as a parts car to use for misc. bits and pieces. Well after driving the car these lst few months I decided it is just to good a driver to part out, many people have gonethis route and if I do not have to then I would rather keep one on the road. The paint is all original, all VIN stickers are in place. The body is in good shape with some dings on the drivers door and some previous rust repair at the rockers and bottom fenders. I have not waxed the car, just gave it a bath and it looks pretty good in the pics, a nice buff would do wonders. The wheels are aftermarket and are better then the standard Metric wheels. As you can see the lights on the outside all work including the fog lights, the headlights have been upgraded as well. Inside all windows and sunroof work as they should. The heat and AC work as well. The seats work with the exception of the drivers side headrest, shocker, but the passenger one works. The radio is an aftermarket CD and works and the speakers are aftermarket as well. This is a good car for either the daily grind or to start a restoration. The biggest thing the car needs is a center muffler section. Of course it is driveable now, just sounds like a glass pack. I have driven the car around town and it performs fine, like an old BMW should, the temp is good and never overheats regardless of the weather. These are great cars, and this one is not perfect, but a good start. I am selling this one at NO RESERVE for 5 days, so the last bid gets the car. I am not advertising the car anywhere else, so it will sell here. This is not a new car, if you are looking for a new car then go to the dealer.
