I am the second owner, and hold the clear TX title.-It is a real Texas chevelle SS! Original Cowl tag is in place, built in Arlington TX.-The engine is not numbers matching to this car.-This car has been kept as close to factory as possible!-It is a code Z25 L78 396 SS from the factory, cranberry red paint 75-75 - ivory trim 791.-It was frame off restored in 1989, exterior rebadged to SS 454. The restored paint is in incredible condition for 20 years old.-The car has all the standard Z25 SS 396 equipment, dual exhaust with rectangular chrome tips, black accented grille, power disc brakes, super sport wheels, white letter tires, wheel opening moldings, black resilient rear bumper panel, bright engine accents, and hide-a-way wipers.-It has the optional black hood stripe package with ZL2 cowl induction and hood pins.-The engine was replaced with a GM Tonawanda 1989 Mark IV 454 LS6 factory replacement built to 1970 specs with 11.25 to 1 compression.-One of the last of these engines off the assembly line. The engine alone is valuable. It has less than 4k miles since install.-A MSD GM Pro Billet HEI was installed in combination with a Holley Street avenger 770 carb and new plugs and wires recently.-The engine runs great!-Intake Manifold is GM 3933163, from the 396SS L78. It also has a heavy duty 4 core GM radiator, not sure if it is factory code V01.-The fuel pump and hoses are not factory, probably 1990 vintage.-Everything else under the hood is correct 1970.-I have the factory 800 cfm Holley Carb in a box.-The M40 transmission is correct for this 1970 chevelle, TH400 with ID plate to match.-It is a horse shoe center console shifter.-Rear end is 12 bolt 3:31.-Car has vacuum power JL2 front disc and rear drum brakes.-The Car has original AC and hoses, not charged with freon, not electrically connected.-The A/C controller is the standard model C60.-Car has original factory electrical system, with mods for the carb electric choke and HEI.-Chevelle black Strato-Bucket vinyl and trim replaced the original ivory at restoration.-The car has the original correct GM UM2 stereo radio with 8 track. It is installed but electrically disconnected.-Aftermarket rear speakers with black grills are mounted on factory correct rear deck.-Unknown if front speakers are installed.-The U14 special instrumentation is still correct to the car with 396SS tachometer.-The clock and tach are disconnected.-All other factory gages are functional.-No aftermarket mods to the dash, no goofy gauge add-ons.-The car has raised WLBS BF Goodrich tires with low miles.- Other options, glove box light, passenger side mirror, front bumper guards, GM floor mats, spare tire and factory jack, Soft Ray tinted glass A01, trunk release A90, door edge guards B93, washer fluid level light CD2, rear window defroster C50, center console D55, comfortilt steering wheel N33, power steering N40, heavy-duty battery T60 (replaced), and rear window radio antenna U76.If Interested Please Contact Elite Marketing North America (877)776-7151 Additional Photos Warranty InformationThis vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty, expressed written or implied.
