Vehicle Detail
I regret to have to sell this Jeep for my Dad as it has been a long time project that he was never able to or enjoy. 99% of the Jeep is complete and its ready for somebody else to finish the few missing details and then have fun off-road! This is a 1981 CJ7, AMC 304V8 that has been mildly built, some o fthe mods include a Holley Truck Avenger 650 carb, Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, ported and polished heads, new lifters, MSD-6 Off-Road ignition, MSD Blaster coil, MSD Distributor, electric water pump, Griffin aluminum radiotor, Novak electric fan TF727 automatic transmission that is pretty much stock other than a B&M shifter and shift kit, Dana 300 transfer case that is stock, Dana 44 rear axle and Dana 30 front axle with 4.27 gears, Chromoly axle shafts and a Detroit locker in the rear, 4wheel Disc Brakes. The suspension is a Spring Over Axle conversion using the leaf springs from a YJ Wrangler because they are longer, wider, provide more flex and a better ride. in the rear is has custom shock hoops and is fitting with Fox Racing 2.0 shocks. Then interior has new seats, new dashboard, has been rhino-lined. The paint is less than 3 months old. Over all its a great Jeep and runs like a monster. Forgot to add that it has a heavy duty steering kit from Mountian Off Road Enterprises using 3/4" Heim Joints, it also has a steering box brace from Currie, a heavy duty rear bumper with a built in 2" reciver, Warn Rocker guards, new dash, and lots of little things are brand brand new like hood latches, hood trip peices, mirrors, bikini top (Best Top) There are also a few left over/ spare parts that will go with it, I have to dig around and see what all I find but I know I have a shackle reversal kit from Mountian Off Road, a frame plate renforment kit from Mountian Off Road, and a nice front bumper. Im unsure of the brand of the bumper but it is made of square tubing with angled sides and a pre-runner type hoop on it, also has 2 d-ring tabs and a 2" recever built into it.
