This is a 1998 Chevrolet C3500 Quad Cab Dually with 39,670 miles. Its like a Suburban front end with an 8’ dually bed rear. 6.5L GM Diesel. This truck was used as work truck for the local water company. We bought the truck in November 2009 when they sold the fleet of trucks and switched to vans because the trucks were overkill. At the time we figured we could use it to tow the boat or haul anything. We were right. However, over a year later we've only put 1,500 miles on it and now the boat is gone and we don’t need such a heavy duty truck. It obviously has very low miles for the year and this truck runs great. I have a 1997 G3500 Van that I drive for work with 100k miles. My van will blow some smoke when downshifting on the highway. This truck wont blow any, even with boat in tow. I pulled a 22’ boat and it a pleasure to drive, it has plenty of power. You don’t even feel like you’re taxing the truck. The truck has A/C, new front tires, 50% on the rear, CD player with ipod connection, leather bucket seats from a Suburban, bed liner, and hitch. As shown in the photos, the paint is peeling on the hood, roof and above the rear tires. This was a work truck and the bed and body shows it. The stripe running down either side of the truck is the sticker residue from reflective tape. The interior has some wear as shown. The real value here is the fact that this is a diesel with under 40k miles. It would make a great work truck or tow vehicle. I’d keep it, but don’t need such a stout truck. Chevy, Like a Rock.
