Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1993 Ford Eddie Baurer Explorer. The body is in good shape no known rust. The interior is good shape it does need some headliner work and the driver's side window does not go down but it is clean and functional. It does need some engine work. By the most educated guess it will need head gaskets. It also will need a new battery and altenator. Great vehicle for parts. But, a good project car to get back on the road. I bought it from a friend with the hopes of getting it back on the road for the wife. We have since bought a Chevy Suburban and a Ford Expedition, so the Explorer is the low man out. There is no reserve. The vehicle will have to be picked up locally. I do have a friend that owns a towing company and will be glad to contact him for towing rates if the needed. This is a good truck, just needs some TLC and someone that has the time to fix her. After seeing the background check on the VIN number I doubled checked, there is no lien on this vehicle. The title is free and clear. My friend had no issues transfering the title from the person he bought it from to his name.On Jan-29-11 at 10:13:17 PST, seller added the following information: Sorry, wanted to add just another note. The paint on the hood is peeling away. Looks like the clear coat is wearing off. I didn't see it when I took the pictures, now that the snow is starting to melt it became visible. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask.On Jan-29-11 at 13:31:48 PST, seller added the following information: When answering a question about the truck, it reminded me the driver's side window, which is electric does not go down. It most likely will need a new motor. Like I said it needs some work.
