This truck was used as a maintenance/landscaping truck for a campus. This accounts for the low miles. We bought the truck with 50,000 miles on it in 2008 and it needed a transmission when we purchased it. The truck maintenance schedule is below since we bought the truck. We use the truck as daily driver and do plow snow. Truck is very solid, everything works as should, 4 wheel drive, drives straight and tight, all aspects of truck work except air conditioner. It is all there but quit working last summer and I did not get it repaired. Plow is heavy duty, works off hydraulic pump on motor includes plow wings. This truck plows the best out of all my trucks, nice and steady and you don’t blow the joints out the way guys do with the big diesels of today. This truck is lowest maintenance truck I have after plowing and we plow paved lots only.The truck has plug in jumper cables ( like tow truck) nice feature to have, long cables and good quality. Maintenance 50,000 new transmission 50,000 Fuel filter, Axles fluids changed, new belts 50,000 Painted truck white (to match my other vehicles). Originally red Installed a ladder rack, rated heavy payload, grab handles on back and extra center bar for shorter loads Changed oil every 6,000 miles synthetic oil only. 69,000 New key ignition, old one key tumblers quit working 70,000 4 new tires 72,000 Changed transmission fluid for this plow season. The bad - needs a new head liner as it sags across the front by the windshield. The rocker panels are rusted (see picture) both sides. I took the picture of the worst side. Truck has scratches on inside of bed due to normal use. The seat was reupholstered and has typical sag on driver side from getting in out, doesn’t bother you when driving but you can see it. The good - truck starts in cold weather very well and only needs plugged when it gets below 30 degrees. Truck is reliable and is still driven on occasion so mileage will change. We purchased a new truck with plow and utility bed at a great buy and that is the reason for us selling this truck. Please come and see truck, feel free to drive truck if local.
