Selling a 1970 Mach 1 Mustang with 67,351 miles, and stored inside since 1976. The Mach has power steering, power disc brakes, and air conditioning. I bought the Mach in 1993 from a person who inherited it from his dad. The car had damage to the front left corner in 1976 and had not been on the road since. The Mach had new radiator mount, left front firewall panels, and rear panel replaced. Both front fenders are NOS replacement parts. I found rust in the bottom corner of the rear glass frame and cut it out and replaced the metal. Car is now fully restored less than 1000 miles ago with rebuilt engine, transmission, brakes, steering, suspension, all rubber (seals, hoses), radiator, air conditioning system. I did not rebuild the rear end. Paint is 1 year old base coat clear coat. The windshield is new and side and rear glass are original and in good shape. Interior is immaculate with original seats and headliner and original door panels. Dash is in great shape, original radio and clock works great. Car is very detailed, deserves close inspection to appreciate. I believe every piece of rubber has been replaced except in the interior, all bushings, hoses, bearings, seals, trim, and whatever I missed. I put 2 full weeks into just the hubcaps. I have been fixing up and painting Mustangs since 1985, This is my most complete restoration. It was going to be the one I kept. I have the original build sheet and a Marti report. I do not have paperwork to verify mileage but the car has the original mufflers and interior and every indicator I saw during restoration made me believe this is original miles. The car was originally a shaker hood. Car runs and drives great but my daughter would like a college education so the car must go.
