Vehicle Detail
Condition: Mechanically, this car is as dependable as any Buick should be. It starts every time...including every day in South Dakota's grueling winters, with wind chills that can reach 50 degrees below zero. I have personally changed the oil in this vehicle (20+ times) every 3 thousand miles since I bought the car when the odometer read approximately. 84,000 miles. Although I am no transmission expert, the car's gears shift quite smoothly for the mileage (the only time the tires spin on this car is when I drive it onto my ramps to change the oil.) New brakes and rotors were installed approximately 20,000 miles ago. All tires have 50-75% tread remaining. The radiator leaks a small amount of antifreeze/coolant. If I had to make an educated guess, it leaks approximately 1 pint of coolant every 500 miles or so. That said, I meticulously monitor the coolant level and top it off on a daily basis if necessary. I have never had a problem with the vehicle overheating due to this leak, therefore have put off getting it repaired. Other than this flaw, the car is mechanically reliable. Exterior -paint: no visible rust, a few misc. minor scratches, door dings etc. -cracked windshield (along the bottom; not in the driver's line of vision) -broken grill (not from collision; my motorcycle fell into the grill inside garage) -broken driver's side door handle Interior -the interior was in "rough" shape when I purchased it...some of the plastic components inside are broken, but still function. -the carpet and seats were stained when I acquired the vehicle as well (have shampooed numerous times). -glove box does not stay closed -broken hood latch Feel free to contact me via email with questions regarding the vehicle.
