1978 CHEVY PATHFINDER 1 TON 4X4 VAN,350 v-8,auto trans,lock in/out hubs,power steering,power brakes,motor and trans were rebuilt by previous owner who was bussiness owner/mechanic,both were from an 89 chevy van ,the complete wiring and fuel injection,computer was installed along with a performance chip,this van runs and shifts strong and excellent,it had low miles on both when i bought it a year ago and i only used it locally for my construction company.the 4x4 goes like a tank and impossible to get stuck(at least for me)tires are heavy ply like new tread with no signs of wear,4 core radiator,newer interstate battery,dual exhaust (one muffler has a hole as pictured(i will replace it if my reserve is met )has newer 33 gal gastank,sunroof,lund visor,has ladder racks(ladders not included)storage bins/drawers/cabinets inside rear on both sides for lots of storage and has a diamond plate tool box behind the front seats that i used to keep all my power tool cases from sliding around and kept everything easy to find,this is a work ready van,has clear pa title that must be notarized before it leaves here,there are several local notarys nearby)this van is for local pick-up only,i will not ship,a NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSITE of $500 must be deposited in my account within 48 hrs of auction close,and the remaining due within 7 days of auction end.all money must clear my account before the van leaves ,no exceptions.The van is being sold as is,where is with no warranty of any kind,not that iam hiding anything its just the van is a 78 model, but it doesnt show it.you are welcome to come by and look at it before auctions end if you like.my zip code is 15651 (lake lynn ,pa)the body is solid from what i can tell.paint will hold a shine when cleaned up,the only signs of bodywork is a bubble a lil bigger than a quarter on the front drivers fender under the paint (see pic), there may or may not be minor scratches ,pings etc expected from a work van,nothing that stands out ,it does look respectable as i used it for my bussiness,the only reason for selling is iam downsizing my work and no longer need a van of this size.you can drive this one away or haul your choice..i hope i coverd everything but if you need any questions answerd you can call or text me at 724-208-3673 my name is JIM ....thanks On Jan-24-11 at 17:11:42 PST, seller added the following information:UPDATE** i changed out the bad muffler today with new one & new clamps,i also gave it a fresh oil change..i spoke with previous owner for some unanswerd questions that you may have,the vans engine is believed to be a early 90's 350 rebuilt with roller cam etc,trans is out of the 89 van its a 700r4,rebuilt with a shift kit.the van had aprox 10,000 miles when i bought it from him and i only put less then 10,000 driving local to work,so its safe to say its aprox 20,000 on motor and trans rebuild,it also has a/c but it needs charged,but its hooked up from what i saw,i just never needed it with the sunroof open..
