It is being sold only because the department has purchased a larger, more heavy duty truck. This truck is in fantastic condition and has very few miles. It was only used as a chase vehicle during winter months whenever the department might have needed to plow in order to access a medical emergency, fire, or accident scene. This truck has been exceedingly well maintains and is in fantastic shape. Everything works as it should. Again, it is in fantastic condition and is 100% ready to go to work for someone else. It tuns down the road nice and smooth. It drives perfectly straight with no wandering. It has power on the hills. It brakes as it should, even on a hill. Its runs exceptionally well. It starts right up with the bump of a key. Everything operates as it should. The engine runs perfect - no stuttering - no smoke - no problems whatsoever. The transmission shifts exactly the way it should. This truck has a Vortec V6 4.3l gasoline engine with an automatic transmission. It has a mere 40,207 miles on it. It has a white exterior and grey interior. The truck has a few extra features. These include snow plow with lights by Pro-Guard, emergency light bar by Back Rack, diamond plate work box by Delta, diamond plate bed rail, bed liner, vent shades, bug deflector, AM/FM, A/C, and driver air bag. As you can see from the photos, the truck is in exceptional condition. It has just a few cosmetic flaws. There are a few paint chips and slight dings on the bed. There are holes in the center console/change holder where equipment was once mounted. The brakes are 70% all the way around. The tires are P235/70R15s. They have about 60% tread remaining all the way around. The rims are 15x7J. The GVWR is 5150lb with a Front GAWR of 2700lb and a Rear GAWR of 2700lb.
