Your bidding on a 1962 Willys Overlander Wagon. Originally bought in 1985 in British Columbia. It was changed from it original engine, and a 283 Chevy engine was installed. The engine was changed out in the late eightys, buy the gentleman i bought it from. He replaced the 283 with a late model 350 Chevy engine. And the three speed transmission was changed out also. It now has a close ratio 4 speed in it. The front and rear At the time i bought it the owner said he had gone threw both differencials and the trnsfer case and they were in good shape. I bought this car and drove it from the Canadian border to Auburn Calif. It got very good gas mileage considering the gear fgor the off road set up. I was surprised. It has power steering and power brakes. But the master cylinder is starting to leek and will need to be changed, some time soon. Other than that it stops just fine, steers like it's rack and pinion steering. There is some rust in the rear quarter panels and in the tail gate. But if you decide to fix it up like new the panels can be purchased and installed. All glass is in good shape. It's all original except the front windshield, which was replaced in 2000.. There is no warranty expressed or implied, wagon bought as is. And a $500.00 deposit is due two days after the auction is over, and the balance is to be paid within 7 days. I can store the wagon for a short period of time till you pick it up or have it shipped. My reserve is low, about the cost of the engine and transmission. I'm selling the wagon to make room for another project, so good luck bidding.
