Offering at Low Reserve! Up for auction is this 1930 Ford Model A Tow Truck. This truck has been family owned and was restored 40+ years ago. It was displayed in a private museum and was also used in a few movies as a prop vehicle from what the previous owner told me. For starters, the sheet metal on this truck is amazing!! The cab is completely rust free and has never had rust or rot anywhere. Cab corners,bottom of the doors, subrails are all mint. The hood is really nice,grill and lower splash pan are perfect,fenders are nice. As for the inside of the truck, it has the original interior but will need to be redone due to rodents. The rear glass and the drivers side glass are gone and the windshield has a few BB holes in it due to vandals. The truck has the original 4-Cylinder engine and transmission. The engine turns over but we have not tried to get it running. The frame is really nice and still has most of its shiny black paint. The hand crank boom is original and complete, less cable. With just a little bit of mechanical work and some tires this truck could easily be back on the road. LOTS OF PATINA!!!! or the sheet metal can be removed off the frame to build a 1/2 ton pickup. Hotrod Streetrod Ratrod or restored stock. Whatever you desire. To the winning bidder, if they desire only the sheet metal and parts from the truck we will disassemble the truck for a fee of $100.00 and discard what you do not want. The sheet metal and etc should fit in the back of a pickup. If purchasing the entire truck, a flatbed trailer will be needed due to all 6 tires will only hold air for a very short time. This truck will be sold with a BILL OF SALE only!! Due to the title being lost in the estate. $1000.00 deposit due within 24 hours of auction end.
