This is a No Reserve auction for a 1989 BMW 325i. Manual. 6 Cylinder. 157K. I volunteer for a non-profit in downtown Denver. We have a charity car donation program. This BMW was donated to us. As a result, I don't have a lot of history with it. What I do know is that it runs and drives and is in above average shape. The only downside I see is that the clear coat is peeling here and there but the paint is good. See pics. Everything appears to be working: air, heat, windows, radio. The right front turn signal and headlight are both cracked. And there's some hose seepage but nothing crazy... just your basic 1989 BMW. Our mechanic says the brake fluid and power strring fluids could be flushed... something we didn't do. And it could use new wiper blades. Tires are very good. New windshield. Dash is cracked. Upholstery is excellent. There's some slight discoloration around the edges of the bumper but no rust. The odometer reads 157K. Colorado DMV routinely puts '0' in as the mileage on cars more than 10 years old. So Title says '0'. Please don't ask me if it'll make it to Palm Springs or Palm Beach. I have no idea. It's 22 years old. All I can say is it's running now. I always suggest that people transport the cars rather than drive them home. We don't know the car well so I'm just not comfortable watching folks drive off into the sunset. That's about all I know. Best to email me with questions but I really don't know much more. If you're close by and want to see it you have to make an appointment. We have it parked in a locked, unmanned warehouse. I will consider any strong offers. We don't have a set price in mind but if you want to present a $$ I will consider it. We are in downtown Denver so if you are out of state and want to bid, great. But we need it picked up ASAP. We will not be your garage for 2 weeks or a month. I know transport is not an exact science but I do expect you to sign up for one within 24 hours of buying this vehicle. We have a dealer's license so we'll have to do all the dealer paperwork with you no matter where you live. But if you live in Colorado we will have to charge state and maybe rtd tax depending on where you live. state = 2.9%. rtd = 1.2%. One more thing... if it doesn't get bids above $750 we'll be tacking on a $150 dealer handling fee. We have alot of paperwork to do and it's not worth it if it becomes just some crazy bargain! Thanks, WendyOn Jan-19-11 at 18:02:42 PST, seller added the following information: I have had 2 people pull car faxes on this car. they say in 2003 the odo read 178K. i had no idea that the insatrument cluster might have been replaced. the car looks in superb condition but i now need to disclose that i have no idea what the true mileage is. Regardless the title will say '0' because that's what colorado DMV routinely does on titles more than 10 years old.
