Up for auction is my daughters 1968 Mustang Coupe with original 289. Has an automatic transmission.The car runs nice but please read everything carefully as this is an AS IS sale due to it's age.The car has many new parts that we have purchased to restore the car but could never find the time to get it done.Now my daughter has gotten married and has a combined family with 5 kids.They won't fit in the Mustang.Now it's time to sell it.The car has surface rust,no cancer that we can see,When we bought it the previous owners had replaced the floor pan on passenger side in the back.The truck is not rusted out which I guess is common.The car can be driven.It does need a 85.00 part for the steering to be tight,there is some play in the steering.The interior does need to be restored...There are tears in the upholstery,the metal interior parts has surface rust...As I said we purchased alot of the stuff it needs...I can help you get it hauled to the west coast,I use a hauler that is very reasonable.Please ask questions before bidding...Thank you for looking and Good Luck!!!On Jan-23-11 at 10:01:51 PST, seller added the following information: The outside paint is not bad, but it is not perfect by any means,it could use a paint job.
