Selling my 1932 Ford Roadster Old School Hi Boy. It has been inspected by Illinois Title officer and given a state of Illinois Vin. # and new Illinois title. Also has passed National Street Rod Association 23 point inspection. It is a 1932 Downs Manufactured Stretch Body, with longer doors and more leg room. Downs makes a strong safe solid body. I started this project about five years ago and have really enjoyed the build and the fun of driving, and showing this car. It was in the street scene Magazine 2 years ago. This car was built with the best of everything American stamping rails, Pete and Jake front end. Ford 9" narrowed and centered 3:70 posi-trac. Front and rear disc brakes, emergency brake. Aldan shocks, Lakester Headers, All stainless 2 1/2 inch mufflers and exhaust. Powered by a bored and stroke 388 cubic inch SBC Keith Black pistons, Indy cyl heads, Crane Cam, Roller Rockers, Edelbrock polished performer manifold and 750 carb, High volume oil pump, H.D> Timing chain. I talked to Mr. Walker himself about the radiator and got the best 32 radiator they made. It's never ran hot, spal fan and shroud. I used old style distruibutor with petronix. Turbo 350 trans fresh rebuild Jegs torq converter lokar nostalgic shifter with piston knob. Steward warner gauges (wings). Custom made wings dash insert. Ididit polished column and banjo wheel. Interior is red Marine vinyl old school pleats. Red auto carpet with vinyl edge. Seat back folds forward for storage. Trunk is not finished, but have carpet and vinyl to finish. Top is Sid Chavers bop top. It comes off and on easy. Also stands up nice over 100 mph. This car has strong heater. Works good on cold nights. This car runs perfect, drives straight down the road at any speed. It's fast, but runs good even in parades. Very low reserve price.
