This has been a great bike for me these last few years. It was a barn find that sat under a tarp for many years and was in pretty good shape. Purchased for parts we later decided it was much to solid to part out so it was fired up (correctly and patiently started with new fluids) New Red Line Synthetic Fluids throught bike ($165 alone) New Front Tire, rear is about 50%plus The odemeter read 5800 when I got it and now reads 8900 and works well, The bike was riden on a Coastal trip over 2000 miles last fall I and a few others who have rode the bike think it may be accurate The Bing carbs work very well, no problems or sticking, fuel bowl gaskets are new Transmission shifts and rides very smoothly, The stock toaster tank is in pretty good shape (not rusty inside) has a small dent thats easly fixxed The seat is a custom 2 up Leather Seat in great shape (back of passenger seat cracking) custom BMW /5 front RAIN fender (was cracked and fiberglass is patched) Lester Wheels make the bike look great (tiny dent in front rim) I think at one time it had a fairing on the front for the turn indecators in front are missing. this is a Mechanicly Sound Bike (RIDE IT HOME) as a barn find it has lost much of its luster and really needs a good washing and detailing. I installed a rack off my r100 for this last trip and it will stay on (bags are NOT included) This is one of my favorite bikes and am only selling it to invest in my company!
