PLEASE READ THE WHOLE LISTING CAREFULLY, if you are looking for a perfect car,this is NOT the one for you!!! please click "back" on you left upper screen,and continue your search!! this is 1994 Geo metro but titled as" chevrolet" Some were titled as Geos and some were titled as Chevrolets. I bought this 2 years ago at local auto auction and never used it. I have good clear transferrable title. I bought this for myself to use because it was clean and still had the orginal floor mats in it still and never was smoked in. also the paint was original. THE CAR HAS BEEN PARKED FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS. Due not passing PA yearly safety inspection, it needed new muffler and reverse switch, on my way home from inspection hood flew up and broke the windshield and damaged the hood as well. I already put brand new windshield ($180) and used hood and repaint ($175) and then parked it. If you are PA resident remember IT IS NOT INSPECTED!!! consider that when bidding. I am selling this AS-IS where is. I am going to tell you all the facts on this car, good and bad . with the gas prices going up, and these little metro,s are getting harder and harder to find. This metro is not a beatup piece of junk like most that I have seen I DROVE THIS CAR TODAY 1/15/2011 AND IT RUNS AND DRIVES WELL. IT IS 3 CYLINDER 5 SPEED. IT DOES NOT HAVE A/C,IT NEVER CAME WITH A/C. THIS IS A BASE MODEL WITH NO EXTRAS. PLAIN JANE MODE!!!! ON THE REAR HATCH SAYS " METRO XFI" THE GOOD==this car does run and drive well. engine has no oil leaks or overheating, clutch feels good, transmission shifts well and down shifts well. It was driven today for about 10 miles. It is super clear inside, the carpet is the same as brand new, seats and clean with no tears or stains, no foul smells. IT NEVER BEEN WRECKED AND HAS THE ORGINAL PAINT EXCEPT FOR THE HOOD.All lights work ,except backup lights (needs reverse switch) TIRES are in good shape all 4 the same Goodyear clubs 155 80 12 and have more the half tread. The brakes are good. All door handles inside and outside work properly. Dash light work, Dome light work with the switch only, it does not light up when you open the doors. Door locks lock the doors automatically after you drive 5 miles per hour.Emergency brake works fine. THE BAD===IT DOES NOT HAVE A/C Paint is little faded. Hood was repainted and it does not match perfectly with rest of car.Heater switch does NOT work,lever is very loose. it does have heat inside ,just the fan does not work. Radio does not work right, it just makes weird noises. Antenna is broken. Dome light does not light up when opening the doors,but it does turn on with the switch.Reverse light do not work ( bad reverse switch) it does have a rust hole under the left fender LOOK AT pictures closely. I DONT KNOW NOTHING OF THIS CAR HISTORY AS I BOUGHT 2 YEARS AGO AND NEVER USED IT.I dont have any service records prior to my purchase. I DONT KNOW WHAT IS THE MPG IS , I NEVER USED THIS CAR.
