Up for sale is a rare 1997 F250 Crew Cab, 7.3 Powerstroke diesel, 5 speed manual, 220K miles. I've seen claims that less than 2500 of these trucks were made, although this in is not an official number there are not that many around. The tires are so-so BFG All Terains, but just today I drove through two feet of snow... there still can dig. Body wise there is some rust, specifically on the driver side front fender, above the windshield, and above the rear wheel wells (just starting to bubble). Otherwise it's pretty clean for it's age. Non-smoker (really) This truck has taken me from one corner of the country to the other and to the other. Ultra dependable and economical for a tow vehicle. Got 24 MPG going to Chicago unloaded, and never less than about 10 MPG when towing about 8Klbs. Gets 17-18 MPG around town. Features: Power programmer [currently set on "off road" tune and temps are ok due to the following] 3" down pipe Exhaust Gas Back Pressure Valve delete (-200F in exhaust temps) Dual gage pod on A-pillar; EGT and Boost Luk clutch ($300 replacement, not $1200 like the Ford DMF) Spray in bed liner Privacy glass all around ( including front drivers and passengers windows) Sliding rear window Block heater Aluminum wheels Cab lights CD Player Power locks/windows Electronic brake control Towing package Stainless bed rail trim and tail gate trim Laverne rear bumper K&N filter Front buckets Sport mirrors Two tone paint Cruise/Tilt Pioneer speakers throughout **Truck has minor hail damage on hood and roof (please call before bidding if you have any questions). Chris 612-387-8480 Recent service: Water pump at 180K Glow plugs at 210K On Jan-14-11 at 10:42:14 PST, seller added the following information: The glow plugs are Motorcraft “BERU” type, the head did come off at 210K to remove a stuck GP so I know all about the wrong ones. The cylinders still have the cross-hatch like they should at 200k for a 7.3, this engine has lots of life in it. Not pictured is the cup holder for the rear seat, it’s here but was soaking in the sink. Behind the rear seat are some spare parts: Idler pulley assembly Serpentine belt Misc brake parts Two of the 4 wheel “beauty” rings, I think a third one is around but am still looking for it. The AC works fine and blows cold (at least it did last time I used it in the fall)**Please excuse the dirty floor in the pictures, it’s just rocks and debris. There are floor mats front and back.
