This is a RARE classic car especially in this condition. Purchased this solid bubbletop from an elderly couple 1 year ago, odometer reads 53,000 and appears to be origianl miles. Intended on restoring and adding an air ride and wheels, to many projects and have yet to finish. Body has been completely restored, in primer, block sanded and ready for paint. Floors, trunk pan, rockers, bottoms of doors all rust free, had small pin hole rust at bottoms of rear quarters and bottoms of front fenders. These areas were cut out and new metal welded in, I have been restoring cars for 20 plus years this car is very solid! Under hood has been restored, front clip removed inner fenders, core support, all brackets,underside of hood, air cleaner housing, have been sandblasted, primed and painted satin black. Original 364 nailhead has had a new water pump, fuel pump, hoses, belts, gaskets installed, rebuilt carburator, generator, radiator, tune up, cleaned engine and painted factory color. Has the factory finned aluminum brake drums with new brakes. Trunk area has been cleaned primed and restored with trunk paint. Have all of the factory trim including the buick fender port holes all in pretty good condition however will need new clips to be installed. Front bumper is good driver quality, chrome is showing its age but still looks decent, rear bumper has been sanded and primed have another rear bumper that goes with car, local chrome shop look at and said it was a good bumper to rechrome. Interior is presentable driver quality, seats have old school seat covers installed original seats under seat covers will need to be recovered. Door panels are original and show usual wear, original headliner is in good condition no rips or tears, new carpet has been installed. Overall interior is showing its age, driver qaulity will need complete restoration for show but is complete and presentable enough for the local shows and cruise nights. Front windshield is cracked and front vent glass is cloudy and bubbling rest of the glass is in good condition. Roof line weather stripping and trunk weather stripping are new rest of the weather stripping and window seals will need replacing. Car has been lowered by modifying factory springs runs, drives and rides good. Have not driven car much since we have owned have taken to few cruise nights and local car shows and has always ran good. Tires are in decent shape original hub caps are included car has 52 Buick hub caps on it now. This would be a great car to finish install air ride and wheels and have a very bad Bubble top, or leave the car the way it is hit the local car shows and cruise nights and turn heads and get the thumbs up just as it is.
