fully cloned 1969 chevrolet chevelle ss 396 two door sedan restored frame off body in 2006 1000s of hours and 10s of thousands of dollars spent restoring this very rare two door sedan 1 of 5000 built in 1969 i used all orginal ss parts like the hood, engine, wheels, everything i could fined 1000s of new or fully reconditioned parts, fully dismantel and care fully put back together. she's was painted back to her original olympic gold in a base coat clear coat paint period correct 350 horse 396 machine shop built, bored 30 over, block was deck and the heads shaved and hardened seat in the heads, fitted with all new premium parts, windage tray install, very strong no disappointment , 400hp plus sounds extremely radical though flowmaster exhaust, 400 auto rebuilt strong and reliable, 12 bolt heavy duty rear end posi track 273 gears , for todays highway speeds, complete rebuilt and fully functional. front disc brakes from the booster to the rotor's everything new, stainless steal lines . new ,tilt column, rag joint, pump and 3 turn lock to lock steering box give's you a very tight and smooth steering from the wheel to the wheels, feels like a new car, 5 date coded 14 inch ss rally wheels with goodyear eagle tires, new springs , and shocks and , bumpers and bearings completly new interior, vibration damper laid throughout the bellies which was first truck bed coated inside and out .bucket seats where broken down and fully rebuilt , with all new materials foam , oem skins profession installed and look and feel like new. windows where remove and polish and restored to full operation, new door panels carpet headliner and dash pad, new rearview mirror, factory am/fm stereo very rare option in 1969 , new lens in the dash, this car has only been driven 3000 mile in the last 5 years mainly to car shows a cruises adult driven, never race or abuse in any way tire's are still have new tread, it gets 17 mpg runs start and drive like new , please don't bid unless you truely wish to own this very rare and beautiful piece of american history i have a good idea what this car should sell for but it has a few flaw in the paints clear coat and few scratches over the past few years, i really need to sell this car so i can have the room to start on another project so no reserve on this car but it's for sale locally so i reserve the right to cancel this auction at anytime , please email with any question you might have or call or text my me at 940 781 0757, On Jan-17-11 at 14:47:26 PST, seller added the following information: i add some photo's i just taken then engine compartment went though a make over last fall, i add the correct oem brake booster and master , also i add a factory power trunk release , the red button is on the interior driver kick panel, very handy also a few things i forgot , all the front end grill bezal emblem are all oem replacement the t3 headlight are orginal equipment,
