1950 GMC 2 1/2 Ton Stakebed. This truck had a mild restoration about 7 years ago. The cab body is solid and all the corners have been patched.The paint is generally good but there is a spot on the left front fender where the clearcoat is failing. Also there is a little pealing around the center popup vent.The engine runs excellent, 228 straight 6. Everything is there, and not a problem with it.Four speed tranny with first being a granny. It also has a PTO coming off the tranny with a lever in the cab.The bed was removed 7 years ago and the undercarriage cleaned and painted, new bed rails. The wood floor of the 12'x8' bed has been replaced with hardwood.Stakes are weathered but basically brand new. Custom made for the truck.All the wiring has been redone and the truck has been converted to 12 volt.Interior has been redone 7 years ago, it's generally in decent shape. I've owned this truck for about 10 years now and I use to rent it out for film and television shoots. The time has come to get rid of it. It's a great truck, not perfect by any means, but it looks good and runs great. Stakebeds that have been fixed up like this are hard to find.
