Vehicle Detail
We're selling our blue 2008 Nissan 2.5 SL Altima 4 door sedan this Sunday night January 9, on eBay to the highest bid. The minimum reserve price is $5999.99, or if no one has bid on the car, you can hit the buy it now button and win the auction for just $6999.99. I will email my phone number to the winning bidder, as soon as the auction ends, so we can make arrangements to meet. The car is fully loaded with a power sunroof, all power accessories, a beautiful beige leather interior, heated seats, a Navigation system, and much more. Also, 2008 was the first year for this newer body style, so all of the 2008 2009 and 2010 Altimas look very much alike. I'm an individual and NOT a car dealer. In an effort to describe the car as accurately as possible, I will go over several details here, so please bare with me. As you can see in the pictures, the car was hit just ABOVE the rear bumper, and in the trunk area. ( Sorry, we've had a lot of rain, so the car was dirty when I took the pictures, but it will clean up nice ). We're just the second owner and this was a new car trade in, when we purchased it about a year go. The beige leather interior is beautiful. And as you can see in the pictures NONE of the Air Bags were deployed, so they're ALL fully intact. The interior is in great shape and looks fantastic, with no rips or tears etc. The car is fully loaded with a factory Intelligent Keyless push button start system, an automatic transmission, the 2.5 SL package upgrade, COLD AC Air Conditioning (with DUAL controls), warm heat, power steering, power brakes, power front seats, power windows, power door locks, adjustable tilt steering wheel, cruise control, AM FM Stereo CD Player, a ($1000.00) Pioneer Navigation System, overhead console with map lights, tinted windows, dual sun visors with two vanity mirrors, a Homelink Universal Transceiver on the rear view mirror (which can be programmed to operate a garage door opener, electric gates or lighting at your home or office), tachometer coolant and fuel gauges, automatic headlight controls, a beautiful beige leather interior, a heated rear window, four matching factory Altima floor mats plus an Altima trunk mat, remote control power side mirrors, dual exhaust with chrome tips, wood grain package (on center console and side arm rests) a spare tire, heated front seats, front, rear, side and side head air bags, factory Nissan alloy sport wheels (NOT hub caps), wheel locks (with a lug nut key) tire pressure sensors, a power sunroof, a sun roof / moon roof deflector shield, a sliding sunroof shade, a factory anti theft system, ABS 4 wheel power brakes, front wheel drive, plus some more extras, and add ons. The remote control also has a brand new battery, so it works great. It operates the power door locks and the power trunk release. An Anti Corrosion chemical was recently applied to the undercarriage and frame, so that area is protected from rust etc. The car has four very nice matching Yokohama All Season Radial P215 60R 16 tires. They're all in great shape with excellent tread and a lot of life left on them. The 2.5 Liter DOHC I4 engine works great and it does not smoke, leak or use oil. The CVT automatic transmission is very smooth and it also works great. The drive train including the axle, rear end and drive shaft etc. all works fine, and the car still drives great. The hood has some small nicks in the paint. All of the glass is intact. However, the back window was damaged by the trunk, when it flew up in the collision, so it will need to be replaced. All of the doors work fine, as well as all of the power accessories etc. The back right door works fine too, but it has a very slight rub on the jamb. The window on that door has a scratch in it and the chrome trim strip is missing. All four of the all season radial tires match and they're in great shape. The brakes work great. Both of the tail lights / rear side lights, popped out, when the car was hit but they will be included. The tail light components are made of plastic, so they were damaged. One of them is missing the lens cover, but you may be able to still use them. The rear bumper cover was damaged beyond repair, so it was discarded. (We couldn't drive the car with the bumper cover hanging down). The original factory Nissan Owners Manual, The Factory Nissan Warranty Booklet, and some other instruction booklets are included, as well as a Nissan nylon pouch, the instruction book for the Navigation system, a DVD for the Navigation system, the wheel lock key, the keyless remote (with a spare key), the CLEAR title for the car, some other receipts, and an extra wiring harness. I suspect the extra wiring harness was for the original factory stereo, which again, was replaced with a $1000.00 Pioneer Navigation system. The car will need to picked up in Burleson Texas which is on I-35W , and about ten minutes south of Fort Worth. Once again, the car still drives great, and I'm very confident, that you could drive it (or tow it with a dolly) anywhere in the United States. If you do decide to drive it at night, I suggest you consider reworking the rear lights, or installing some temporary lights. FYI, Airline tickets are very CHEAP right now, especially thru United etc. so you could fly in, and possibly drive the car home. The DFW International Airport and Love Field in Dallas are both about 45-55 minutes from where the car is located. You can check the air fare rates at www.BookingBuddy.com. Also, for about $20 to $25 SuperShuttle will give you ride from the airport, to our area. You can check their shuttle rates at www.SuperShuttle.com . Again, we've had the car for about a year and it has performed great. It also has a recent new battery and it starts right up every time, warm or cold. I'm an individual and NOT a dealer. I have my CLEAR normal Texas (Blue) title in hand, that I will give you at the time of the sale. In the pictures, you can see the title laying on the hood, along with some other paperwork . The bank RELEASED the lien, when we paid the car off, so once again, there is NO lien on the car. Also, the car was NOT totaled, so my understanding is, you will NOT have a Salvage title. The car was appraised for over $20,000 without the damage and a brand new Altima that's fully loaded like this, is about $25,000.00 or more. And that's not to mention the $1000.00 Pioneer Navigation system, so you can save a LOT of money here. Also, if you live out of town, the car can delivered to you, anywhere in the world. You must pay the delivery fee and set up the transportation. However, I will help you any way I can, at this end. You can save a ton of money here by doing the paint and body repair work yourself. The new (or used) replacement parts, can be found at most wrecking yards, a salvage dealer, or here on eBay etc. Aftermarket parts are much cheaper than OEM parts, but they often do the job, especially on fixed, non moving parts. Once again, the bidding starts at just $5999.99 with NO RESERVE so make your highest bid now, or if no one has bid on the car, you can buy it now, for just $6999.99. You can also place a proxy bid now, and the eBay computer will bid no higher than necessary, for you to win, or until your maximum amount is reached. Again, the car will be sold this Sunday night, January 9 to the highest bidder, regardless of price. As soon as the auction ends, I'll send my phone number to the wining bidder, who will then need to contact me, to set up payment arrangements, and a time to pick up the vehicle etc. If you live out of town and you need a couple of days to pick up the car, that's fine, but you'll need to send a deposit of $200 through PayPal asap. I'll refund the deposit, once the full amount is paid. If you pay in person, we'd prefer CASH or a bank transfer, and we'll try to meet you asap, based on your schedule, and ours. If you pay with a method other than cash (Certified Cashiers Check etc) we'd like to meet you with the car and title, at our bank, during normal banking (lobby) hours. The bank is Wells Fargo and it's right on the highway (Exit 36 - East Renfro and I-35W) in Burleson, TX 76028. I'll be available all day (and night) on Monday January 10 and until 3:00 PM on Tuesday January 11, to close this deal and meet you with the car (and title). Or, I may be able to meet you later in the week, if I need to. Again, we'll try to work with you, and your schedule, the best we possibly can. This has been an excellent car for us, and it still runs great. It's very, very dependable, and as you can see, it's full loaded too.. Whoever buys it, will be very pleased. Thanks and Good Luck to ALL !!!
