Solid 1957 Chevy 3100 shortbed pickup truck. Engine is a 283 V8 with dual exhaust. Automatic transmission with manual steering/breaks. New carburetor and distributor cap, New seat, New tires. Recently tuned up. Looks and runs GREAT. No mechanical or body concerns. Garage kept. History: The original rebuild was buy a gentleman who bought the truck for his father who had a similar truck when young. The truck has a sound body with no major rust but does have bubble to front right hood and roof. No rust or filler to fenders, bed or body from what I can see. I cant tell you much more since I am not a mechanic. I have looked under and over the truck and personally see no issues with the body other than it needs minor cosmetic work only. As you can see from the pictures it looks good and from the mechanics opinion it has a good engine. The truck has recently been tuned up and is ready to hit the street and the mechanic who did the work thought it was "awesome"...I take that as a good thing! I purchased the car from a dealer and had it looked over to make sure it is mechanically and structurally sound...which it is. I have updated this with as much as I can tell you. I bought the truck to go to car shows with my son, but family issues have forced me to sell.
