Vehicle Detail
1991 Dodge W250 3/4 4x4 Cummins Diesel. Truck has approximately 191K miles (I have driven the truck only about 400 miles since I've owned it). Speedometer and Odometer have stopped working so I do not have an exact number. There is between 3000-4000 miles on a new overdrive transmission. This is a late 1991 model so it does have intercooler! I bought this truck about two months ago from Virginia as a project. I drove it home 5 hours straight with NO PROBLEMS!! The truck runs and drives good! I am getting rid of it because my girlfriend needs help with school. The guy that I bought it off of shipped the truck to Virginia from California! The truck has not been touched by Pennsylvania road salt, so get it while it is still rot FREE!! My intentions for the truck were to fix up the minor body work and the very few "here and there's" that it needs to be a perfect truck. The only major body work it will need are a driver's side inner and outer fender and a new grill. Like I said, the speedometer and odometer need to be fixed. I think it could possibly be a minor wiring problem. I did find quite a few wiring issues when I first brought the truck home, but I seem to have found all of the problems, to the best of my knowledge, for the exception of the speedometer and odometer. The truck may also need a new blower motor, unless it is like I said, a wiring issue. The truck will need a new carpet! The previous owner spilt gear oil all behind the seat and when we got back from Virginia realized this and had to rip it out. I would also replace the shocks because they seem to be getting a bit worn. To the best of my knowledge, there are no other problems with the truck other than some general TLC and maybe a new coat of paint! The previous owner also, after installing the automatic transmission, installed the overdrive onto a toggle switch on the dash because the old button burned out (common problem for these trucks), and re-enforced the frame and steering box. He told me he did this because it was a heavy duty work truck and apparently these trucks have a tendency of twisting under a load and cracking the plate the steering box is attached to. This is supposed to prevent this from happening and supposedly everything was done professionally! The truck also has Remmington Mud Brute 255/85/16 tires that are approximately 95% tread (these tires go for $700!) and when I got the truck back from Virginia I changed the oil, oil filter, K&N air filter, and fuel filter! I have taken care of this truck as much as I could for the two months I've owned it, and more! Everything, to the best of my knowledge, is running good! The truck drives good and 4x4 does work!! The toolbox on the back does not go with the truck though, it belongs to my girlfriend. The truck is being sold AS IS and a $300 deposit is required within 48 hours of the auction end!! Please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, or if you would like to come see/drive the truck before the auction ends! And don't forget, NO RESERVE!!! Thank you for your time and happy bidding!! On Jan-09-11 at 17:44:27 PST, seller added the following information:By request I have added a reserve price and started the bid lower! The selling fees have been added to the final price of the truck however. I must ask that you do not send offers. I am more than willing to answer any of the questions that you have or if you would like to come see it, but my price is firm. Thank you all again for watching and happy bidding!!
