Vehicle Detail

This is a High trim level 1971 Swinger in almost unbelievable condition. It is straight and tight and the doors close easily. This is the cleanest Dart I have seen that is not a restoration. It runs and drives great, always gets lots of looks and comments. This car has been garaged since new, we are the second family to own the car. It has a 225 Slant 6, Automatic transmission and 2.76 rear gears. Factory Options include: Rim Blow steering wheel (the wheel is in very good shape, the original horn switch does not work, the button added does work and is removable), Map light, Courtesy lights, Variable speed windshield wipers with washer, Factory AM radio, Remote driver side mirror, Factory Air Conditioning, Heavy duty cooling with shroud, Power steering, Automatic transmission, Vinyl top. Everything is original except for the changes listed below. I have the build sheet, owners manual and a file of receipts to go with it. It has placed first in local shows in the Seattle area and just gets better the closer you look. This car is in ready to drive condition, it could make a cross country trip today. Driving this car home to any state is a very realistic option. It has just had an oil & filter change, new NGK plugs and air and fuel filters as well as graphite intake and exhaust gaskets. There is an AAA roadside kit, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, some extra belts, hoses, fuel filter and light in the trunk. I trust this car as much as my 3 year old Honda. It has been updated and had some mechanical restoration to make it a safe and reliable car to drive in Southern California traffic. Items replaced at 14700 miles on the odometer (it had turned over once) to prep it for the trip from Washington to California include: Timing chain and gears(originals looked fine), water pump, fuel pump, Radiator, All belts and hoses, thermostat, New NOS Mopar electronic distributor running with HEI module and MSD coil, new Spiral core wires, trans cooler, fuel pickup seal, carb rebuild, trans service and valve adjustment. At the same time the car was converted to Big bolt pattern (5 on 4.5") 11" front disc brakes. This includes spindles and upper arms from a 74 Dart, new bearings, rotors, pads, rebuilt calipers with new hardware, hydraulic hoses front and rear, upper and lower ball joints, upper bushings, new aluminum master cylinder with billet adapter, adjustable proportioning valve with residual pressure valve on rear, a 74 Big bolt pattern rear end with 10" x 2.5 " brakes, new mopar axle bearings, brake lines, shoes, cylinders, drums and hardware. New grade 8 hardware thruout. New KYB gas adjust shocks front and rear. The rear is in great shape, very tight and is filled with Redline gear oil. It has a correct big bolt pattern spare with an almost new tire. All parts are top line Moog, Raybestos and bendix. The pedal is solid and the braking is amazing. The wheels were replaced at the same time with new 15"x7" summit racing wheels in the large bolt pattern with new 215-60-hr15 fuzion tires and Gorilla wheel nuts and locks. The car has since had new 5 leaf rear springs installed with heavy duty adjustable front hangers and new mopar rear bushings. The factory gauges all work and a solid state regulator from real time engineering has been installed. The factory AC box was rebuilt with new heater core and seals. The AC dash switch and evaporator switch replaced. Underhood is all new r-134 equipment: Sanden SD 508 HD Compressor, parrallel flow condensor, drier with high/low pressure switch, r-134 expansion valve, custom aluminum lines and barrier hoses, Idler pulley, custom brackets. The system works great and puts out very cold air. There is a dent in the rear bumper from using the factory bumper jack and a extra backup light has been added to the rear drivers side. There is some slight damage to the passenger side rear quarter that is not really noticable unless you look for it, hard to see in the pictures. The only thing missing is the hood latch lever, the first owner removed it and lost it, you just have to pull the linkage rod to open the hood. Winning bidder must make a $500 deposit via paypal within 24 hours of close. The remainder of payment via cash or verifiable cashiers check before the car leaves. It has current California registration and title in my name. No problems with the transfer. This Thank you for looking and bidding.
