WE JUST TOOK THIS ROVER IN ON TRADE FROM THE OWNER OF 15 YEARS FROM UP IN THE MOUNTAINS IN PRESCOTT ARIZONA. IT SEEMS TO BE VERY STOCK AND ORIGINAL BOTH COSMETICALLY AND MECHANICALLY. THE BIGGEST THING IS THAT IT DOES NOT APPEAR TO HAVE ANY RUST ON THE UNDERBODY AND FRAME AND HAS PROBABLY BEEN IN RUST FREE ARIZONA FOR A VERY LONG TIME. THE PAINT WAS PRETTY WEAK SO WE PRIMERED THE WHOLE BODY BLACK SO THE BODY REPAIRS NEEDED COULD BE ACCURATLY ASSESED. THERE ARE SOME ALUMINUM BODY PANELS THAT HAVE SOME MINOR DAMAGE ON THEM BUT NO MAJOR DAMAGE. THE INTERIOR SEEMS VERY ORIGINAL AND SURPRISINGLY EVERYTHING ELECTRICAL ON THE ENTIRE TRUCK SEEMS TO WORK FINE INCLUDING ALL LIGHTS AND GAUGES. MECHANICALLY THIS TRUCK IS VERY SURPRISING, IT STARTS RIGHT UP AND AFTER IT WARMS UP FOR A MINUTE OR 2 THE MOTOR RUNS SO SMOOTH YOU CANNOT EVEN TELL IT IS RUNNING!! IT HAS TO BE NOT ONLY THE SMOOTHEST 4 CYLINDER I HAVE EVER SEEN RUN BUT I WOULD PUT IT UP TO ANY BRAND NEW LEXUS V8, YES IT RUNS THAT GOOD!! IT DRIVES DOWN THE ROAD WELL AND SHIFTS INTO ALL THE GEARS.
